Summary

Old English glosses in an eleventh-century manuscript of Prudentius's Praefatio, Cathemerinon, Peristephanon, Contra Symmachum, and Epilogus. The text is glossed in Latin at the beginning and then in Latin and Old English by at least four hands.

The manuscript, which consists of 180 folios, also contains Sibylline prophecies, an excerpt of a poem by Porphyrius Optatianus, the prefatory letter to Frithegod's Breviloqium Vitae Wilfridi, and a collection of drinking verses (DigiPal). It is thought to originate at Christ Church, Canterbury but came to be owned by the library at Saint-Bertin.
