English annotation written on recto of the blank first leaf of the penitential texts in this manuscript (fol. 140r) in 'the earlier part of twelfth century', 'in a poor sloping hand' (Ker 1957, p. 9). Ker transcribes the annotation as 'Gyf mæssepreost his agen lif rihtlice fadie'. Main texts are in Latin and Old English, and were also glossed in Old English in s. x.
