Additions:

Latin annotation: ' [Hoc uolumen]  continet multam copiam sermonum in anglico. | non appreciatum propter ydioma incognitum.' This appears on fol. 29r on the top margin above Ælfric's Catholic Homilies, First Series, II, Christmas Day. A similar marginalia in Durham, Cathedral Library, B. III. 32, fol. 2r (see Mynors 1939, n. 22; plate 15). Datable to xiii/xiv (see Ker 1957, p. 23; Traxel 2004, pp. 131-34).

Archbishop Parker's table of contents appears on fol. 1r and J. M. Kemble's description is included on fols iii-iv.

The manuscript contains annotations in English and Latin in fourteenth-century hands on fols 37-42. A sixteenth-century hand wrote on fol. 2: 'Genesis in Englishe. Matthæus Cantuar: dedit 1574'. This is the same hand which added the note about the pagination. Later hands, possibly sixteenth-century, annotate fols 2v-8rfols 162r-68v and fols 175v-78v, adding also some comments in Greek.

    Binding Description:

Bound, s. xvii in brown suede.

    Accompanying Material:

Added flyleaves of a printed edition of a Latin text at the beginning and the end of the manuscript.
